All honesty - this lot of empties is pretty crappy. Lots of products I've used and talked about a few times before, so I'm padding this out with various things I've bought (oops) in this time bracket.
Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion
I love a menthol-y body lotion, which this is. Would get this one again - in summer, ideally, since it's so lovely and cooling.
La Roche Posay Effaclar
There is nothing I can say about this that I haven't said elsewhere - I think I talked about it in the most depth over here. This is my - third? I think - tube of it, and I have a fourth lined up. Damn good stuff.
Organic Instinct sensitive shampoo
Bit crap, though to it's credit it's a better non-sulfate foamer than most. Impulse purchase that I wouldn't do again. The next shampoo I've got lined up is the Sukin Protein Shampoo, which looks to be another sulfate-free potential car crash. Aargh, sulfate-free shampoo is so crap.
Beguiled Bubbling Scrub
I've had so many bubbling scrubs. So good. Beguiled is my favorite HoG scent, I've decided, and it being a seasonal scent is typical. Smells like the most delicious baked lemon cheesecake you can imagine.
Nutrimetics anti-aging serum*
Reviewed this one over here - lasted me a really long time, too. I have a million other serum-type things right now that I want to burn through, but once I need another one this is a contender. I'll have to track down a Nutrimetics salesperson in the wild.
And here's the stuff I bought in this time bracket. Why do I feel like I'm not entirely doing this right?
And this is only the stuff I remember.
I've already talked about a few of these - I reviewed the Sukin masque over here, and talked about the Clean Face BB cream a fair few times. And I've talked about the Covergirl lipgloss crayons here.
The Bioderma Sebium H20 and the pair of BB-Creams are ebay hauls. I didn't actually mean to buy two of the BBs, I was bidding on one then realized that there was a same-priced Buy It Now happening elsewhere. And I was not adverse to getting two of them, since I'm petrified of them being discontinued. So good. The Bioderma I'd met in a small trial size that I bought in Canberra, as it was the first time I'd seen Bioderma in Australian retail and I got ultra excited. There needs to be more skincare in gigantic bottles, I like just carrying it around. In case I need to knock someone out with it or something.
And I got a bunch of fragrances! The big one is a 50ml EDP of CK Euphoria, which I love, even though the bottle design is counter-intuitive and annoying. I was at work and returning some things for a lady and I suddenly went all creepy and went "Oooh! You smell amazing!". To her credit, she didn't bat an eyelid and mentioned Euphoria. Thanks to my friend Jacinta I can't see it and not hear 2012's Eurovision winner song.
I also got four Haus of Gloi perfume oils!! I caved to logic and bought Beguiled, in an effort to hold onto the fragrance past the seasonal bracket. Elsewhere I got Honeysuckle Lemon Curd (I've raved about that before), a Lavender Sugar (hadn't tried it before. Not I huge fan, sadly) and a Reverie scent, Golden Corn Cakes. The last is deliciously foody, and smells like Anzac biscuits but in a nice way (I usually hate Anzac biscuits).
And there's some Essence bits and pieces! Since they have such a rapidly cycling set of limited editions, you can go to three different chemists and see three different sets of products. And so many of those displays were cleaned out most of the time. I gathered these bits from a Priceline - two long lasting eyepencils, a double-ended eyeliner pen, a lipgloss wand and a mini pack of gloriously scented handwipes. Essence are so great for cheap thrills. I've only tried the lipgloss at this stage, which is surprisingly moisturizing considering I always assume these type of things are going to be like lip lacquers or something.
Any preferences for review? I'll take any suggestions, lawd knows there no rhyme or reason to my review-pattern.
