I find it personally rather amusing that the lipsticks I'm currently fondling have shades named after the thing I am worst in the world at doing.

I've had these two for a little while - I went looking for a certain color of these for a friend and ended up buying two for me in the name of science. Or materialism.
I'm pretty boring in lipsticks colors. I inevitably go for the red and dark pink, though in my defence that's a pretty goddamn bright pink right there. And interestingly the pink is a good deal more solid and pigmented than the red, which is sheerer and not really what you'd expect looking at it in the tube. It's sort of the meeting point between dark pink and a low-key orange. Not what I was expecting at all.
These aren't as creamy as my NYX's, but they still go on smoothly. Moreso when you've used them a bit and they've softened. For their first use they dragged a bit on the lips but improved when I went back over the surface.
The Color Inject lipsticks have a smell that I love. It's old school lipstick smell, an odd combo of paint and wax and sweet perfume. Some of you will hate it. If you do, send em this way. I could happily sniff away at these all day. Surprisingly I think I'll get more wear out of Flamenco, the color's more solid and less of a chameleon than Cha Cha.
But I'd totally get more of these. They look awesome too, little and compact and banded in that pink metallic. Good times.

Oh, I'm surprised at how soft the red shade is, I quite like it!
ReplyDeleteAh I love these lipsticks too! The two you sent me have been getting much love~~ The purple one is more of a fall color and I shall be doing a post on it soon :D
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe I have a weir taste in ipsticks, but your choice in colors make me feel like a crazy lady!
ReplyDeleteThese shades both look too hot on you! Flamenco is... OMG, looove!
ReplyDeleteI love that typical old lady lipstick smell :D I need to pick up some of these lipsticks (esp. Flamenco!) because I always swatch and drool over them :(
ReplyDeleteOoooh I have Flamenco at home, I love it :D It looks good on you! Love the eye popping pinks ;)
