MuLondon Organic Hemp Moisturiser - I am deep in smit

Smitten, I am. Most surely. Because I have a night cream that if they were a person I would do obscene things to them. Observe:

So MuLondon is a hypoallergenic, preservative and water free experience developed by Boris - last name highly secret, apparently - who also happens to be a complete spunk. My constructive criticism would be this: MuLondon, add a gallery of pictures of your creator. Kthxbi.

Hemp is the most kind to oily gals, apparently, which is a little sad for those of us who began salivating at the idea of the white chocolate truffle face cream - but luckily it still has a very pleasant scent. It's very woody and herby, but in the clean, pleasant way, not in the incense and marijuana way.

Now this is an interesting experience - it's almost a dense, soft wax in the tub, nothing like your average moisturiser. It even flakes when you go to dig a finger in to scoop some out.

It took me a while to adjust to this one. It still goes on very heavily, which disturbs me a little, but it doesn't make me break out. I treat this as a night treatment as opposed to a regular occurrence - I feel a burning need to wash the residue off in the morning, and this may or may not be complicated by the fact I wear a CPAP face mask when I sleep, which means I end up with large chunks of my face as moisturised as when I went to sleep, and bit which have dried and normalised. You do need to melt it between your fingers a little before applying - it's sort of like very soft candlewax in texture, which melts into a very fragrant oil.

To clarify - it's good. It's probably be more effective on slightly less oily ladies. But for those of us who are still oily but need something that's extra-comforting for the harsher months of winter - it's good. Very good. Soothing, and pleasant smelling, and not horribly expensive.

Also Boris is, like, hotness central. Did a mention that? Seriously. Rawr.
